We’re Cabins on the Cumberland, a collective of four couples who share the same vision: create a destination that becomes the go-to spot for families and friends looking for the perfect mix of relaxation and adventure.

Ultimately, it’s our goal that every visit leaves you feeling refreshed, recharged, and closer than ever to your loved ones.

The Cabins

Each cabin features one private king bedroom, a cozy loft, an open living, dining, and kitchen area, one spacious bathroom, fire pit, picnic table, charcoal grill, stocked coffee bar and opportunity to rent bikes and/or kayaks for your whole stay. Cabins sleep 6, some are pet-friendly.

The Areas

Cabins on the Cumberland is located in Jamestown, KY. Our riverfront retreat is about 25 minutes from the center of town (Jamestown & Russell Springs).

Area Highlights

  • 3 minute drive to the historic Creelsboro Country Store – cookie and bread making classes available + breakfast on Saturdays PLUS the best ice cream

  • 10 minute drive to see The Rockhouse (you can also see this via kayak or boat on the river)

  • 15 minutes to Winfrey’s Ferry – last river access point before you’re on your way to Nashville, TN

  • 20 minutes to Wolf Creek Dam and Kendall Recreation Area

  • 20 minutes to Halcomb’s Landing – the largest boat ramp onto Lake Cumberland. Parking access as well, but this fills quickly during peak season.

  • 25 minutes to Lake Cumberland State Dock – another boat ramp to access Lake Cumberland
